At Regen Aesthetics, hair removal can be done with M22™ procedure. It is designed to treat any skin type, texture, and over 30 skin conditions (including hair removal) of any age. It is a minimally-invasive laser skin resurfacing procedure that can effectively remove hair, treat acne, acne scarring, pigmentation, redness and other skin conditions.

What results can I expect from hair removal?

After hair removal treatment, you will start to notice hair fall out within 1 to 3 weeks post-treatment. As laser hair removal damages hair that is in its active growth stage, you will notice new hair growth but they will typically be much thinner and less noticeable at a slower growth rate. These results will be noticeable after just one session but it is advisable to return for follow-up appointments for optimal results.

Your doctor will provide you with aftercare instructions which you can follow to minimise any discomfort during the downtime period. It is important to discuss any concerns you may have with your doctor prior to undergoing any hair removal treatment.

The only way to remove unwanted hair permanently is to destroy the hair follicle to make it impossible for new hair growth to occur. This can only be done through the electrolysis method and can only be done by a dermatologist or certified electrologist.

Hair removal is safe but it can cause side effects such as pain, discomfort, and redness. Permanent hair removal, although suitable for all skin types, may not be suitable for everyone. This includes pregnant women or anyone with sensitive skin.

03. Is hair removal treatment painful?

In general, hair removal treatment should not cause any pain or only cause some slight discomfort. The level of any pain felt depends on the part of the body where hair removal is done — some areas may be more sensitive than others (such as your private part).
